Lex Croucher reveals cover and first chapter of Regency debut

Writer Lex Croucher has revealed the cover and first chapter of their debut novel, Reputation, in a video on their Youtube channel. The Austen-inspired novel follows Georgiana Ellers as she is sent to stay with her dreary aunt and uncle. Soon, Georgiana falls in with a scandalous crowd, with shenanigans and debauchery ensuing. The novel is being recommended not only for Austen fans, but fans of Bridgerton, Mean Girls and Gossip Girl. Sounds like the perfect summer holiday read to me, and if the first chapter is anything to go by, a funny one too!
