Group Visits

Your visit begins with a warm welcome and introductory presentation talk from one of our knowledgeable and experienced Guide-Actors. This takes place on the first floor of this attractive Victorian town house, in a classically decorated period room.

Following the presentation your group is taken through our interactive Exhibition where their visit continues at their own pace, finishing in our well-stocked Gift Shop. If you have any questions on Jane Austen or London our staff are always close at hand and very happy to answer them.

For groups of 50 or more, for your comfort, we recommend out of normal hours visiting, either before 9.45am in summer (10.30am in winter) or after 4.30pm summer (3pm in winter). ‘Out of Hours’ groups have the added bonus of exclusive use of the Experience.

We can cater for most ages and abilities of students. Where possible, we will tailor our introductory talks to suit your group’s educational needs. Quizzes and other supporting materials are available.  The perfect way to bring the novels to life!

• Group reservations are advised to book a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your visit
• Maximum group size for each  visit is 25
• Larger groups can be accommodated but will have to be split
• Discounted tickets only apply to groups of 12 or more booked in advance
• Printed guides in other languages can be provided
• Walking tours usually last 90 minutes but can be tailored to suit the group
• Payment is taken in advance by credit card, cheque, BACS or cash
