2025 Jane Austen Festival Regency Balls
For the 2025 Jane Austen Festival all our Regency Balls are all sold out with each waiting list full. This page has been left live so people can see what is going on where during the Jane Austen Festival.
We can't wait to welcome everyone to Bath for lots of dancing!
Please note we do not re sell tickets on the door for events, so don't turn up in the hope of no shows, you will be disappointed.
Hartfield Country Dance Ball
Friday 12th September - 14:00
Join us in the spectacular Banqueting Room of Bath's historic Guildhall for Regency dancing, called by Liz Bartlett of the Jane Austen Dancers. Live music will be provided by Beau's Band. There will be a bar open throughout the event.
Please note that to spare Mr. Woodhouse the worry, this is a food-free event!
Regency costume mandatory for this event. Please do not bring in snacks to keep everyone safe.

Donwell Abbey Ball
Friday 12th September - 19:00
We welcome you to an evening of Regency dancing in the spectacular Banqueting Room of Bath's historic Guildhall. Dance calling will be provided by Liz Bartlett of the Jane Austen Dancers, with live music from Beau's Band. Regency games wil be provided by John White of Select Society, downstairs in the Brunswick room. There will be a bar open throughout the event, as well as a cold buffet.
Please note that the dances will be the same as for the Hartfield Country Dance.
Feel free to add a nod to our Donwell Abbey theme with some strawberries in your outfit!

Longbourn Country Dance Ball

Join us in the spectacular Banqueting Room of Bath's historic Guildhall for Regency dancing, called by Liz Bartlett of the Jane Austen Dancers. Live music will be provided by Beau's Band. There will be sweet treats, punch and tea on offer throughout this event.
Regency costume is mandatory for this event.

Rosings Park Ball
Saturday 13th September - 19:00
We welcome you to an evening of Regency dancing in the spectacular Banqueting Room of Bath's historic Guildhall. Hunsford Parsonage Assembly
Saturday 13th September - 20:00
You are welcomed to the Jane Austen Festival’s Hunsford Parsonage Assembly in St. Swithin’s Church, Walcott Street, Bath. You will be dancing in the very same church where Austen’s mother and father got married!
Dances will be called by Sally Petchey accompanied by live music from Vicki Swann and Jonny Dyer. In line with our other Saturday balls, we will be continuing our Pride and Prejudice theme in some of the dances.
As with our other balls, all ability-levels are welcome. There will not be a pre-ball dance workshop, however each dance will be walked through and explained before it is danced. This is an after-dinner event (8pm-11pm), there will be no food provided however there will be a cash/card bar.
Regency costume is mandatory for this event.

Mr Tilney's Assembly Ball

Join us in the spectacular Banqueting Room of Bath's historic Guildhall for Regency dancing, called by Liz Bartlett of the Jane Austen Dancers. Live music will be provided by Beau's Band. There will be sweet treats, punch and tea on offer throughout this event.
You are welcome to reference our Mr Tilney theme by including your finest muslin in your outfit for this event.

Rose Ball
Wednesday 17th September - 20:00
We welcome you to an evening of dinner and Regency dancing in Bath's Pump Rooms. Tickets will include a two course dinner, with Regency dances called by Liz Bartlett of the Jane Austen Dancers and live music from Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer. We invite you to continue the "On Wednesdays we wear pink" theme into the evening and include some pink in your Regency costume for this event!

Celestial Regency Soiree & Ball
Thursday 18th September - 19:00
Friday 19th September - 19:00 - Sold Out
A Celestial Ball ticket will include a Soiree ticket as well as access to the rest of the evening’s entertainment.
After enjoying a magical drinks reception round the Roman Baths, dance the night away in the Regency Pump Rooms with expert dance calling provided by Liz Bartlett of the Jane Austen Dancers, and live music from Beau's Band.
There will be a mid-evening break for a two-course dinner, seated in the Pump Rooms Reception Hall and along the Terrace overlooking the Roman Baths. A cash bar will be open for Ball ticketholders from dinner onwards. On booking, you will have the option to pre-buy bottles of prosecco to be placed on your table for dinner.
Entrance doors will open at 19:00 and closed promptly at 19:45, please note if you arrive after this you may not be admitted.
