Thank you very much for the information. It looks like there may have been with the quiz program that we use. Hopefully those errors have now been fixed.

The last two questions are still wrong.

Question nine should be Jane Fairfax arriving in Highbury, not Harriet Smith being attacked by gypsies and rescued by Frank Churchill.

Question ten should be John Thorpe persuading Catherine to break her engagment with Elinor and Henry, not being introduced to the General.

Many thanks for the comment, apologies for any errors. The corrections should now have been made.

I’m sure some of these answers are wrong? Georgiana Darcy nearly elopes in the summer before Bingley comes to Netherfield. Or does it mean which is recounted in the book first?

Quite a number of errors here. In question 5, Mr Bingley’s departure for London – he tells Mrs Bennet in Chapter 18 that he is going there the next morning – precedes Mr Collins’ unsuccessful proposal to Elizabeth in Chapter 19 never mind his successful one to Charlotte in Chapter 22 and their wedding and departure for Hunsford are recorded in Chapter 26 , so Charlotte’s change of abode not the correct answer. Georgiana Darcy’s aborted elopement is chronologically the first event to be cited but as it takes place before the book begins might not be held to count.

in Question 9, Jane Fairfax arrives in Highbury in Chapter 20 and Frank Churchill follows her in Chapter 23 and saves Harriet from the gypsies in Chapter 39, so the rescue is again not the correct answer.

In Question 10, Catherine Morland and General Tilney see each other in Chapter 10, while she is dancing with Henry Tilney at a ball. They are not, however, introduced then – the General asks Henry who she is and Henry tells Catherine who he is. John Thorpe’s lies cause Catherine to break an engagement with Henry and Eleanor in Chapter 11. He tries it again by lying to Eleanor in Chapter 13 but Catherine resists him, chases Eleanor home to put the record straight and is at that point introduced formally to the General. So the introduction is not the correct answer.

Yes, I noticed the same problems as well…maybe even 1 or 2 more were not ending up as the correct answers.
