These limited edition stamps were issued by the Royal Mail in 1975, to commemorate the work of one of Britain's most celebrated authors, Jane Austen, and the bicentenary of her birth.
The stamps feature a beautiful etching of Mr. Darcy, Emma and Mr. Woodhouse, Catherine Morland and Mary and Henry Crawford, all central characters in Jane Austen's cherished novels.
The stamps are in pristine condition and mounted onto glass to emphasise the detail.
