A Limited Edition Commemorative Jane Austen Stamp in a brass hanging frame.
This limited edition stamp was issued by the Royal Mail in 1975, to commemorate the work of one of Britain's most celebrated authors, Jane Austen, and the bicentenary of her birth.
This ten-pence stamp features a beautiful etching of Catherine Morland, the heroine of Jane Austen's 1817 Northanger Abbey novel.
The stamp is in mint condition and mounted onto glass to emphasise the detail.
