Tickets & Admissions
Do you accept Bath Discovery Cards?
We offer a 15% ticket discount to all Discovery Card holders. These tickets cannot be purchased online, however you can redeem this offer in our Gift Shop. Simply show your Discovery Card upon arrival.
Do you accept Blue Peter Badge Holders?
We offer free admission for Blue Peter badge holders, simply show your Blue Peter badge and ID on arrival. Badge holders must be accompanied by an adult. (One child entry per paying adult).
Do you offer any student discount?
Students wishing to enter the Exhibition on a student ticket must bring evidence of their student status.
We accept the following forms of evidence:
- Sixth form & school ID card
- International Student Identity Card
- Totum, UniDays or Student Beans
Do you offer Blue Light Discount?
We offer a 10% ticket discount to all Blue Light Card holders. These tickets cannot be purchased online, however you can redeem this offer in our Gift Shop. Simply show your Blue Light Card upon arrival. The Discount is applied only to the card holder's ticket.
Can I still visit the Exhibition if I am late?

Can I reschedule my visit to the Jane Austen Centre?
Yes, if you are unable to attend your visit to the Jane Austen Centre, please let us know by emailing contactus@janeausten.co.uk and one of our team members will help you re-organise your visit for an alternative date.
How long should I allow to visit the Exhibition?
We recommend allowing a minimum of 1 hour to experience everything the exhibition has to offer.
The Regency Tea Room
How long should I allow to visit the Regency Tea Room for Afternoon Tea?
We recommend allowing a minimum of 1 hour for your Afternoon Tea Experience.
Can I visit the Regency Tea Room without visiting the Exhibition?
Our Tea Room is located on the 2nd Floor of the Jane Austen Centre and can be accessed without tickets to visit the Jane Austen Centre, Exhibition.

Do you allow dogs?
We kindly ask that guests do not bring dogs into the Jane Austen Centre or the Regency Tea Room, with the exception of registered assistance dogs.
Can I purchase Gift Vouchers?

Do you offer language guides?
We have a QR code positioned in our introductory talk room which, when scanned on a smart phone, allows you to follow the introductory talk in 23 different languages.

Work Experience Placements
At this time, we regret to inform you that we do not offer work experience placements within the Centre. While we understand the value of such experiences, our current structure and commitments do not allow us to accommodate work experience requests.
What is the minimum age to apply for a job in the Jane Austen Centre?
Anyone aged 16 or over is welcome to apply. Unfortunately, due to our insurance and safeguarding policies, we are unable to recruit anyone aged 15 or under.
