No visit to the Jane Austen Centre would be complete without a visit to our Regency Tea Room.
Experience our traditional English ‘Mr. Darcy's Afternoon Tea’ with a decadent and delicious serving of exquisite cakes, divine finger sandwiches and delightful warm scones served with Dorset clotted cream and seasonal jam.
If Mr. Darcy's Afternoon Tea doesn’t take your fancy, we have a selection of Regency treats available including Cream Teas, Delicious Cakes and an extensive selection of teas and coffees.
We have achieved Tea Guild ‘Award of Excellence’ status so you can expect an exceptional level of quality and service from our friendly staff.
While we do advise you book Mr. Darcy's Afternoon Tea in advance to avoid possible disappointment, you are very welcome to just pop in for a bite and we will do our best to offer you a table.
